DENVER, CO (October 9, 2025) – Monday morning, a person died in a horrific hit-and-run crash on East Colfax Avenue and Trenton Street.

The incident happened just after midnight in the area of East Colfax Avenue and Trenton Street.

Police said the victim was crossing East Colfax Avenue from north to south when they were hit by a dark-colored SUV.

The vehicle may have minor to moderate damage on the front passenger-side bumper, officials said. No description of the driver was available.
