FRESNO, CA (September 27, 2026) – Friday night, a man died in a horrific hit-and-run crash on Olive Avenue.

The crash involving a man and a hit-and-run vehicle happened on Olive Avenue.

Police said the man was trying to leave India’s Oven restaurant without paying when he ran into the street. As he was crossing, a white Toyota Tacoma traveling east on Olive Avenue struck him.

The truck driver fled the scene after the collision. The man was taken to a hospital, where his condition was not immediately known.
