1 Person Dead in Los Angeles Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 14 and Interstate 5

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 17, 2024) – Sunday morning, a horrific multi-vehicle crash on Highway 14 and Interstate 5 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 2:16 a.m. on the southbound Highway 14 transition to the southbound Interstate 5.

According to CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig, the incident involved multiple unidentified vehicles.

Moreover, responders pronounced one person dead at the scene. Then, the L.A. County Fire Department transported two people with critical injuries and two people with minor injuries to a hospital for treatment.

Furthermore, the crash closed a section of southbound Highway 14 transition to the southbound Interstate 5.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
