BALDWIN PARK, CA (February 5, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a horrific pedestrian crash on 10 Freeway and 605 Freeway killed 1 person.

The incident happened at 2:09 a.m. on the eastbound San Bernardino 10 Freeway and the northbound San Gabriel River 605 Freeway.

CHP officers found a pedestrian in the first and second lanes of a freeway connector road, according to Officer Sergio Garcia.

Investigators determined the victim was walking on the transition road when multiple vehicles struck him.

A SigAlert was issued, shutting down four lanes from eastbound I-10 to northbound I-605 for about two hours as CHP investigated.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
