The incident happened in the 8000 block of FM 78.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle while walking along the road.

The vehicle was traveling eastbound when it hit the man, who was walking in the same direction. The driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.

The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries and later died.
