1 Dead in White Rock Pedestrian Accident on Aragon Avenue and Pruitt Avenue

WHITE ROCK, NM (August 12, 2026) – Saturday night, a juvenile died in a horrific pedestrian crash on Aragon Avenue and Pruitt Avenue.

The incident happened at around 11:59 p.m. on Aragon Avenue and Pruitt Avenue.

According to the Los Alamos Police Department, a 13-year-old boy died after an incident in White Rock, New Mexico.

Officers and Los Alamos Fire Department emergency medical personnel responded to the intersection of Aragon Avenue and Pruitt Avenue, where they found the juvenile and immediately began lifesaving measures.

Despite those efforts, the boy died shortly after being transported to Los Alamos Medical Center.

The department’s Investigation and Crash Team units are handling the case. The investigation is in its early stages, and authorities have not yet determined the exact circumstances or cause of the incident.
