1 Dead in Jennings Pedestrian Accident on W Florissant Avenue and Carl Avenue

JENNINGS, MO (May 25, 2026) – Early Saturday morning, a man died in a horrific pedestrian crash on W Florissant Avenue and Carl Avenue.

The incident happened at around 1:44 a.m. in the southbound lanes of West Florissant Avenue and Carl Avenue.

Officers responded to the scene and found a man suffering from critical injuries after he was struck by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

Detectives with the St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons and Accident Reconstruction Unit are handling the investigation.
