SANTA MARIA, CA (June 30, 2025) – Wednesday morning, a horrific rollover crash on Highway 166 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 10:30 a.m. on Highway 166.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a pickup truck crashed down an embankment for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, officers confirmed that two male occupants of the vehicle died in the crash.

Furthermore, authorities said that Highway 166 is a remote and often hazardous roadway known for visibility challenges due to the surrounding terrain.
