PACOIMA, CA (December 23, 2025) – Early Sunday morning, a person died in a horrific semi-truck crash on 5 Freeway near Osbourne Street.

The incident involving a semi-truck occurred at about 3:45 a.m. on the northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway near Osbourne Street.

A 25-year-old woman was struck and killed by a dark-colored SUV while crossing Bruceville Road north of Laguna.

She was walking outside the crosswalk in the number three lane when the southbound vehicle hit her.

Reports said that the driver left the scene and was last seen heading west on Laguna Boulevard.
