1 Person Dead in Holts Summit Auto Accident on Highway 54 and Route 00

HOLTS SUMMIT, MO (February 13, 2025) – Wednesday morning, a horrific single-vehicle crash on Highway 54 and Route 00 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 7:02 a.m. on Highway 54 ramp at Route 00.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1998 Ford Explorer slid off the roadway and crashed into a tree.

Moreover, officers confirmed that a three-year-old girl was pinned beneath the rolled-over car and was pronounced dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the vehicle to a hospital with moderate injuries.

Furthermore, that crash closed Highway 54 ramp at Route OO but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Missouri State Highway Patrol continued investigating the crash.
