PHOENIX, AZ (April 30, 2026) – Monday morning, a woman died in a horrific single-vehicle crash on Interstate 17 near Pinnacle Peak Road.

The incident occurred just before 1:00 a.m. on Interstate 17 near Pinnacle Peak Road.

First responders were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 17 near Pinnacle Peak Road, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Troopers said the driver, a 32-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.

A passenger was also injured, though no details about their condition were provided.
