SONOMA COUNTY, CA (May 18, 2026) – Saturday afternoon, a person died in a horrific solo-vehicle crash on Highway 101 and Todd Road.

The incident happened just before 4:20 p.m. on Highway 101, north of Todd Road.

Authorities said two people were inside a vehicle that crashed into a tree.

The California Highway Patrol said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger was transported to a hospital with major injuries.
