The incident happened at around 6:30 a.m. on Interstate 17, near 27th Avenue and Deer Valley Road.

According to reports, two vehicles collided in the area for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced a man, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a female driver to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
