2 Dead in Kansas City Auto Accident on 6920 Executive Drive

KANSAS CITY, MO (September 27, 2026) – Friday morning, a horrific vehicle crash on 6920 Executive Drive killed 2 people.

The incident happened at about 9:30 a.m. on 6920 Executive Drive in the Executive Park industrial development off Interstate 435.

Sgt. Phil DiMartino, a KCPD spokesperson, said officers responded to the crash and found the Jeep Cherokee had been traveling south on I-435 before leaving the roadway and going down an embankment.

Reports confirmed that the Jeep went through a fence and across a parking lot before striking a parked semi-trailer, DiMartino said.

Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities were not immediately released.
