Ibrahim Mohammed Dies in Tragic Crash on Highway 6 [Sugar Land, TX]

Sugar Land, TX (June 26, 2025) – Sugar Land police have arrested two individuals in connection with a deadly street racing crash on Highway 6 that killed Ibrahim Mohammed, 32.

Authorities say that the incident happened on Highway 6 near Voss on Saturday around 9:40 p.m.

Police say one of the racing drivers crashed into Mohammed’s Toyota Camry, killing him at the scene. Mohammed had just married days before the incident.

Authorities charged 20-year-old Roman Pollock and 26-year-old Kamran Kamran with manslaughter.

Investigators say Pollock was driving the Ford Mustang that struck Mohammed’s vehicle; he remained at the scene and was transported to the hospital along with two other people. Kamran, driving the BMW that was racing Pollock, fled the scene.

Authorities located Kamran’s BMW on Tuesday after a witness provided a vehicle description and arrested him at his workplace. He also faces a failure to stop and render aid charge.

Mohammed’s business associates and customers at the tech repair store where he worked expressed profound sadness. Mohammed had recently moved to Houston from India on an H1-B visa and was planning to move into a new apartment with his wife.

Pollock has been released on a $100,000 bond and is due in court on August 4. Kamran remains in jail on a $500,000 bond.
