Fatality Reported in Motorcycle VS Vehicle Crash in Lubbock

Lubbock, TX (March 8, 2026) – A motorcyclist was fatally injured following an Indiana Avenue collision Friday night.

It was past 7 p.m. when the deadly collision between a motorcycle and an SUV happened on 53rd Street.

The rescuers rushed the injured rider to a hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. Officers said they were wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

Troopers withheld the identity of the deceased pending notification of the family.
