Police Investigate Crash on Delmar Boulevard Apartment Unit

St. Louis, MO (October 17, 2025) – Authorities are investigating a crash on Delmar Boulevard involving a sedan that slammed into an apartment unit early Friday morning in Midtown.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. at an apartment complex on the 2900 block of Delmar Boulevard, near the intersection with T.E. Huntley Avenue, on the border of the Midtown and Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhoods.

Reports indicate that two individuals were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash and managed to exit the car after the collision

A woman was transported to the hospital, though it remains unclear whether she was a passenger or was injured as a bystander.

Inside the apartment, a resident, along with his wife and nephew, were present when the vehicle crashed into their unit.

Thankfully, none of the residents were injured. The resident noted he may have heard gunfire just before the crash, but authorities have not confirmed whether the sounds were related to the incident.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway and crash into the residential building.
