One Person Hospitalized After Crash on Interstate 5 on Riverside Avenue in Tehama County
TEHAMA COUNTY, CA (March 26, 2026) — A van overturned into a canal Thursday morning in a crash on Interstate 5 in Red Bluff, sending one person to the hospital, according to Red Bluff CHP officials.
Authorities said the crash happened at about 8:08 a.m. on northbound I-5 just south of Riverside Avenue. The van was the only vehicle involved in the collision.
CHP reported that emergency crews transported one person from the scene to a hospital. Officials have not released information about the person’s condition.
Investigators also have not said whether anyone else was inside the van at the time of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
