3 Hospitalized After Crash on North General McMullen Drive in San Antonio
San Antonio, TX (December 19, 2025) – Three people were hospitalized Thursday evening following a crash on North General McMullen Drive involving an Edgewood Independent School District (ISD) police vehicle.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the 140 block of North General McMullen Drive, near Rosedale Park on the city’s West Side.
According to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), the Edgewood ISD police officer was driving southbound with lights and sirens activated, escorting a volunteer group delivering Christmas gifts to local families.
As the officer attempted to stop traffic, their vehicle collided with an SUV turning westbound onto General McMullen.
All three individuals involved—the officer, the SUV driver, and the SUV’s passenger—were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, according to a statement released by Edgewood ISD on Friday afternoon.
The crash remains under investigation.
