Police Investigate Rear-End Crash on U.S. 54 in Camdenton 

CAMDENTON, MO (June 11, 2026)— A 70-year-old Camdenton woman suffered serious injuries Thursday evening after another driver rear-ended her vehicle in a crash on U.S. 54 west of Camdenton, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. The woman was driving a 2015 Toyota RAV4 and had stopped while waiting to turn left. At that time, a 21-year-old Camdenton man driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado struck the rear of her vehicle.

Emergency responders transported the woman by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The Silverado driver did not suffer injuries in the crash, according to the report.

Authorities said both vehicles were totaled.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the collision.
