Drivers Injured in Washington Boulevard Multi-Vehicle Crash [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (November 18, 2023) – Drivers were injured following a Washington Boulevard multi-vehicle crash Friday morning.

A tow truck crashed into several vehicles at around 2:40 a.m. near the intersection with Griffith Avenue, south of the 10 Freeway.

Investigators stated that the tow truck, a red Prius, and a silver Prius, collided. As a result, the tow truck struck eight parked cars.

Officers said the tow truck was northbound on Griffith Avenue through the intersection and collided with a red Prius. Then, the tow truck collided with multiple parked vehicles before it overturned and landed on its side. 

The tow truck and the silver Prius drivers were rushed to the hospital with unknown injuries.

It’s unclear if speed or alcohol played a role in the traffic accident.
