Several Hurt in Hidalgo Multi-Vehicle Accident on Dicker and McColl Road

HIDALGO, TX (August 21, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a horrific 3-vehicle crash on Dicker and McColl Road led to injuries.

The incident happened at 7:45 a.m. on Dicker and McColl Road, said Hidalgo Police Chief Romeo Rodriguez.

Authorities said a southbound vehicle on McColl collided with two others, causing one to roll over and another to be pinned between vehicles. The crash involved a white pickup, a maroon SUV, and a white car.

Speed and running a traffic signal are possible factors, but the case remains under investigation. A man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
