Pursuit Ends with Crash in Lubbock Auto Accident near West Loop and Marsha Sharp Freeway

LUBBOCK, TX (June 15, 2025) – Early Saturday morning, a police chase crash near West Loop led to minor injuries.

Reports said that the incident happened at 4:50 a.m. near West Loop and Marsha Sharp Freeway.

The Lubbock Police Department responded to a pursuit that began around 3:10 a.m. and ended in a crash. The suspect’s vehicle collided with another vehicle while attempting to flee.

One person in the second vehicle sustained minor injuries. The suspect was not hurt and was taken to the Lubbock County Detention Center.

The Major Crash Unit launched an investigation into the incident, which remains ongoing.
