DEL MAR, CA (January 4, 2019) – Injuries were sustained in a crash on southbound 5 Freeway, Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 10:16 AM, just north of Del Mar Heights Road. Based on their report, a silver Hyundai and a Chevrolet Equinox were recovered at the scene.
