2-Vehicle Collision on Wurzbach Parkway Leaves One Dead, One Injured

San Antonio, TX (December 15, 2025) — A wrong-way crash on Wurzbach Parkway in San Antonio’s Northeast Side early Saturday morning claimed one life and sent another person to the hospital, according to police.

The collision occurred just before 2:30 a.m. in the 17000 block of Wurzbach Parkway. Investigators said a driver traveled eastbound in the westbound lanes and collided with another vehicle as officers were nearby.

The wrong-way driver died at the scene. The other driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased.
