PHOENIX, AZ (January 16, 2023) – Saturday morning, Irene Lujan died in a two-vehicle crash near 47th Avenue and Indian School Road.

The accident occurred at about 3:00 a.m. near 47th Avenue and Indian School Road.

According to reports, one vehicle made a westbound turn onto Indian School Road while at a red light. Then, an eastbound vehicle on Indian School Road crashed with the vehicle.

When the authorities arrived at the scene, they tried to help a woman trapped in her car.

However, they later declared that woman, 27-year-old Irene Lujan, dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the male driver of the second vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
