Roy Lewis, Isaiah Rodriguez Injured in Glenn County Accident

 
GLENN COUNTY, CA (August 15, 2019) – Two people sustained injuries in a collision on County Road 99W on August 11.
 
17-year-old Isaiah Rodriguez of Orland drove a 2004 Chevrolet Tracker north on County Road 99W. Meanwhile, 83-year-old Roy Lewis of Red Bluff traveled behind Rodriguez in a 2000 Honda Civic.
 
The press release revealed that Isaiah Rodriguez didn’t slow his vehicle when Lewis slowed his car ahead of Rodriguez. Hence, the Chevrolet crashed with the Civic’s rear.
 
Rodriguez and Lewis both sustained injuries. Responders took Lewis to St. Elizabeth hospital via ambulance.
 
Authorities didn’t arrest anyone yet and both drivers wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
 
Driving can be very dangerous and almost anything can happen if you are not prepared. It is important to always drive within the posted speed limit. Slow down if you see traffic stalling ahead to avoid hitting other vehicles.”
