Jack Vogt Fatally Injured in E Rosedale Street Accident

Driver Jory Durst Arrested in Fort Worth Deadly DWI Crash

Fort Worth, TX (June 13, 2026) – A 50-year-old pedestrian, Jack Vogt, was fatally injured following an E Rosedale Street accident Thursday morning.

It was past 7 p.m. on June 11 when the fatal traffic crash happened at the 4000 block area.

Officers said the driver, 35-year-old Jory Durst, was speeding when he struck the victim. According to the investigators, the driver continued traveling with Vogt on top of the vehicle until it stopped near Miller Avenue.

Police responded and declared Vogt deceased at the scene.

Troopers evaluated Durst for DWI and charged him with intoxication manslaughter.
