Jacob Saville Arrested in Deadly Crash on Lakeway Drive [Bellingham, WA]

BELLINGHAM, WA (September 11, 2022) – Saturday morning, authorities arrested Jacob Saville after a deadly crash on Lakeway Drive.
 
The incident occurred at around 12:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Lakeway Drive.
 
According to reports, 36-year-old Jacob M. Saville drove his truck off the road. Then, he hit a pedestrian and knocked over a light pole.
 
Officers confirmed that Saville drove while under the influence. Thus, he possibly caused vehicular homicide.
 
Upon evaluation for his injuries at the hospital, officers booked him into the Whatcom County Jail.
 
Meanwhile, the male pedestrian in his 40s succumbed to injuries at the scene.
