James A. Kahama Dies After Hit-And-Run Crash on State Route 22 in Toppenish
Toppenish, WA (December 11, 2024) – 53-year-old James A. Kahama died in a hit-and-run crash on State Route 22.
The Washington State Patrol confirmed the identity of the victim in a pedestrian hit-and-run incident near Toppenish on December 10th as 53-year-old James A. Kahama.
Three vehicles struck Kahama as he walked on State Route 22, just west of Casey Road.
Authorities are actively searching for two suspects involved in this tragic incident, as they remain at large.
The collision occurred just before 5:00 PM, and investigators are pursuing leads to locate the individuals responsible.
Two of the drivers fled the scene, while an 18-year-old driver of the third vehicle remained.
The patrol has not yet disclosed the charge status of the driver who stayed at the scene.
Meanwhile, details regarding the other two vehicles, as well as the identities of their drivers or passengers, remain unknown at this time.
