72-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Houston Crash on FM 1959
Houston, TX (July 9, 2025) – 72-year-old James Morris was killed after a frightening pedestrian crash on FM 1959 Thursday evening.
According to authorities, the fatal crash happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Farm-to-Market Road 1959.
Reports say that tragedy struck when a southbound vehicle fatally struck Morris as he crossed the road.
Emergency crews transported Morris to a nearby hospital, where doctors later pronounced him dead.
The driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. Authorities found no signs of intoxication and released the driver after questioning.
Houston Police continue to investigate the incident.
