James Weinstein, 32, Critically Injured in Canyon Road Hit-and-Run Crash [Pierce County, WA]

Pierce County, WA (April 15, 2026) – James Weinstein, 32, was critically injured following a Canyon Road hit-and-run crash Friday night.

The traffic collision happened past 10 p.m., on his way home from a Seattle Mariners game.

Troopers said Weinstein was in the roadway to retrieve his pair of expensive sunglasses he had dropped outside of a vehicle when he was hit by a truck.
