Janet Phillips and Lawrence Anderson Dead in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 75 [Sherman, TX]

Sherman, TX (August 23, 2025) – Janet Phillips, 51, and Lawrence Anderson, 20, lost their lives in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 75 early Thursday morning.

The authorities received the crash report around 4:20 a.m. in the 5400 block area.

Responding officers determined that a tractor-trailer had rear-ended a passenger vehicle that caught fire. 

Officers said three tractor-trailers and two passenger cars were involved in this collision that happened in a construction zone.

Sadly, Janet Phillips and Lawrence Anderson, who were in one of the passenger vehicles , were killed at the scene. 

There were no other injuries were reported in this collision.

Moreover, the authorities are investigating this deadly fiery collision.
