Motorcyclist Jamie Hope Dies in Head-On Crash on US 67 in Johnson County
Johnson County, TX (August 5, 2025) – A head-on collision on Highway 67 injured Jared Trabucco and killed Jamie Hope early Monday morning.
According to local authorities, the frightening crash happened early Monday morning, at around 7:40 a.m.
Reports say that 38-year-old Jamie Hope of Cleburne attempted to pass another westbound vehicle on a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle. During the maneuver, Hope entered the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado.
The impact killed Hope at the scene. The driver of the Silverado, 37-year-old Jared Trabucco, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Harris Downtown for treatment.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident to determine the exact circumstances leading to the crash.
