Jarrett Hawkins Killed in Frightening Crash on US 77 [Lorena, TX]

Lorena, TX (May 21, 2025) – 36-year-old Jarrett Hawkins, 18-year-old Landon Harris, and 49-year-old Daniel Phillips were all killed after a tragic collision on US 77.

According to authorities, the deadly collision happened on the morning of May 20, on US 77 near the Milam County line.

Reports say that the tragic head-on collision in Lee County claimed the lives of three individuals, including Harris, a former dual-sport athlete from Lorena High School.

The crash occurred around 7:00 a.m. on US 77 near the Milam County line. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Harris was driving a Toyota Tacoma southbound when he veered into the northbound lane and collided with a Dodge Ram.

The impact killed Harris, his passenger Hawkins, and the driver of the Dodge Ram, Phillips.
