Kaufman County, TX (June 8, 2025) — 25-year-old Jatwane Anton Wilson died early Sunday morning after a vehicle struck him while he was outside his disabled car in Kaufman County.

The incident happened around 1:23 a.m. on State Highway 205 near the Kaufman-Rockwall county line.

Investigators said Wilson of Fate was standing outside his disabled vehicle when he entered a traffic lane and was struck by a passing Mercedes SUV.

Wilson suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The SUV driver was not hurt in the collision.
