Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar Involved in T-Bone Crash on Guadalupe Street [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (May 3, 2026) – Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar was involved I a t-bone crash on Saturday afternoon.

The two-vehicle collision happened while Salazar was driving his way home on his county-issued vehicle.

Salazar said he was driving on the access road of Pecos La Trinidad when he T-boned another vehicle at the intersection with Guadalupe Street intersection.

He believes the other vehicle’s driver had run a red light.

An elderly woman in passenger seat of the vehicle that was t-boned complained of chest pains and anxiety. Rescuers transported the woman to an area hospital as a precaution.

Moreover, Salazar confirmed that he was not injured in the collision.
