Moxee, WA (March 16, 2026) – Jayde Entler, 11, of Kelso, and two other people were killed in a SR 24 head-on crash Friday night.
The deadly vehicle crash happened before 10 p.m. approximately 15 miles east of Moxee.
Troopers said a car driven by Luis Martinez, 39, of Bellingham, was eastbound on the freeway when he attempted to pass the vehicle in front of him.
Martinez’s vehicle drove into the westbound lane and struck a westbound vehicle head-on.
The 35-year-old Kelso woman who was driving the westbound car, and one of the passengers, a 13-year-old Kelso girl, were also rushed to a Yakima hospital.
Jayde Entler was also passenger in the westbound car. The authorities declared her dead at the scene.
Moreover, Martinez, along with a woman in his car, Yajaira Martinez, 38, of Bellingham, were declared dead at the scene. Children ages 6 and 8, who were also passengers in Martinez’s vehicle, were rushed to a Yakima hospital.
Police said all the tree deceased and the 13-year-old girl in the westbound car were not wearing their seatbelts.

When a Fatal Traffic Accident Changes Everything
Losing a loved one in a traffic accident is heartbreaking. The shock and grief can feel overwhelming, and for many families, the emotional pain is compounded by sudden financial and legal concerns. Medical bills, funeral expenses, and the loss of income can create stress at a time when families should be focused on healing.
In situations like these, a wrongful death claim may help provide both financial relief and a sense of accountability. While no legal action can ever replace a life, pursuing a claim can help families understand their rights and seek compensation for losses such as funeral costs, medical care, lost wages, and future financial support.
Holding the responsible party accountable is also an important part of the process. Whether a crash was caused by negligence, reckless behavior, or unsafe conditions, the legal system allows families to pursue justice and help prevent similar tragedies from happening to others.
For many, taking this step brings a measure of clarity and closure. It’s not about placing a value on a life—it’s about standing up for your loved one and protecting your family’s future.
You should not have to carry additional burdens because of someone else’s actions. Our experienced wrongful death and personal injury attorneys are here to support you with care, respect, and dedication.
At Sweet Lawyers, we handle the legal challenges so you can focus on what matters most—your family and your healing. We are committed to fighting for justice and fair compensation every step of the way.
