Jenna Garcia Killed In Horrific Crash on Slaton Highway

Driver Injured in Deadly Crash on Slaton Highway and Peach Avenue

Lubbock, TX (September 30, 2025) — On Monday morning, 31-year-old Jenna Garcia lost her life in a collision on Slaton Highway in east Lubbock.

Lubbock Police reported that the crash happened around 6:15 a.m. in the 4100 block of Slaton Highway. Investigators say that Garcia was driving a minivan south on Olive Avenue when she entered the intersection and struck an eastbound semi-truck.

Garcia died at the scene, while the truck driver was taken to UMC with minor injuries. The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is continuing the investigation.
