Passenger Jennifer Jensen Dead in 2-Vehicle Crash on MO-291 [Kansas City, MO]

Kansas City, MO (December 29, 2025) – 36-year-old Jennifer Jensen of Kansas City was killed following a 2-vehicle crash on MO-291 Saturday night.

It was past 9 p.m. when the deadly crash between two trucks happened on the northbound freeway and East Kentucky Road.

Investigations stated that a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado traveling west on Kentucky Road ran a red light at the intersection and drove into MO-291. 

The Chevrolet then struck the passenger side of a 2010 Ford Ranger, and both vehicles rested in the southbound lanes.

Sadly, Jennifer Jensen, a passenger in the Ford ,was killed at the scene. 

Moreover, two other occupants in the Ranger were taken to area hospitals with serious injuries.

The Chevrolet’s driver also sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital. 

Police suspect alcohol impairment as a factor in this fatal crash.

Troopers are still investigating.
