Jeremy Lujan Dead After Hit-And-Run Crash on Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe
Santa Fe, NM (March 26, 2025) – 34-year-old Jeremy Lujan of Santa Fe died in a hit-and-run crash on Cerrillos Road.
Santa Fe police suspect that the driver of a 2015-2022 Chevrolet Colorado was involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning.
In a news release on Wednesday, police announced that they had identified the vehicle, a satin steel metallic pickup, after reviewing surveillance footage and examining damaged vehicle parts found at the crash scene.
Investigators believe the truck has a broken black front grille and a damaged tinted hood deflector, an aftermarket accessory.
At 2:26 a.m. Sunday, the pickup struck and killed 34-year-old Jeremy Lujan of Santa Fe on southbound Cerrillos Road near Richards Avenue. Instead of stopping, the driver fled the scene.
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact crash investigator Art Maes at 505-955-5685.
