Bakersfield, CA (June 14, 2025) — 37-year-old Jesse Henderson of Bakersfield died two days after a vehicle struck him along Rosedale Highway, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.

Authorities identified the victim as Jesse Jerome Henderson. The collision happened around 12:32 a.m. on June 7 near the intersection of Rosedale Highway and Allen Road.

Emergency responders transported Henderson to Kern Medical for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on June 9.

Officials have not released additional details about the circumstances of the crash.
