37-Year-Old Jesse Katches Fatally Struck by Two Vehicles on Stevenson Boulevard [Fremont, CA]

Fremont, CA (February 13, 2026) – 37-year-old Jesse Katches lost his life in a traffic crash on Stevenson Boulevard Thursday night.

The deadly collision happened at 8:30 p.m. on February 10, west of the Sundale Drive.

Officers said Katches attempted to cross Stevenson Boulevard at mid-block but was hit by a Toyota as he entered the lane second furthest from the left. 

Sadly, Katches was also hit by another vehicle, whose driver fled west.

Fremont Fire personnel rushed to the scene and treated Katches. He was then rushed to an area hospital where he died.

The Toyota’s driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. The driver wasn’t hurt in the collision.
