San Luis Obispo, CA (November 25, 2021) – On Tuesday, 76-year-old Jim Maguire of Santa Margarita, a longtime San Luis Obispo County public defender, died in a crash on Pozo Road.

It was about 5:45 p.m. when the pickup truck he was driving crashed with a turning semi-trailer truck near his Santa Margarita farm.
