Joe Johnson of Sacramento Arrested in 16th Street Collision [Sacramento, CA]

Sacramento, CA (June 1, 2024) – 41-year-old Joe Johnson of Sacramento was arrested following a 16th Street collision early Friday morning.

It was about 1 a.m. when the authorities responded to the pedestrian vs vehicle collision. 

When they arrived, rescuers located the 32-year-old male victim with significant injuries. They rushed him to an area hospital and in critical condition.

The driver, Joe Johnson, fled the scene but was arrested at around 7 p.m. in the 2300 block of Broadway. They booked him at the Sacramento County Main Jail on felony hit-and-run related charges.

Officers are investigating.
