John Cavan Arrested in DUI Crash on Gardenspot Road [Loon Lake, WA]

Loon Lake, WA (November 29, 2023) – 51-year-old John Cavan and his passenger were injured in a DUI crash on Gardenspot Road Monday evening.

It was around 6:30 when Cavan was westbound on Gardenspot Road toward the roundabout at Highway 395.  

He did not yield to the other vehicle in the roundabout and t-boned it. Luckily, one in the second vehicle sustained injuries.

WSP said Cavan drove from the crash scene but lost control of the vehicle on Highway 292 and slammed into a tree. 

Cavan and a passenger sustained injuries and were transported.

Troopers said Cavan faces charges of vehicular assault and hit-and-run.

Most importantly, stay focused while on the road. Remove all distractions that could cause accidents such as mobile phone use, unstrapped toddlers, etc.
