Wichita Falls, TX (August 26, 2025) — Police identified 28-year-old John Mark Pardo as the victim of a fatal crash Friday night on Broad Street near Kell West Boulevard.

Investigators said Pardo was riding his motorcycle around 7:45 p.m. when a pickup truck changed lanes into his path.

The impact forced Pardo off the roadway, where he struck a curb before stopping in the median.

Officers confirmed that Pardo was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup driver was not reported injured.
