35-Year-Old John Vielle Killed in Horrific Single-Vehicle Crash on San Bernardino Avenue [Rialto, CA]

Rialto, CA (May 25, 2025) – 35-year-old John Vielle of San Bernardino died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on San Bernardino Avenue.

According to authorities, the fatal incident happened at about 1030 p.m. on the 800 block of West San Bernardino Avenue.

Reports say that a suspected DUI crash left one man dead and two others hospitalized.

Rialto police responded to a solo-vehicle collision

Authorities determined that the driver lost control of the vehicle while speeding and slammed into a tree. The impact severely injured all three occupants.

Emergency crews pronounced Vielle dead at the scene. Paramedics transported the driver and a second passenger to a nearby trauma center with serious injuries.
