Jonathan Tran Dies in 2-Car Collision on Wooded Creek Drive

25-Year-Old Man Killed, Others Injured in Red-Light Crash on Marsh Lane in Farmers Branch

Dallas County, TX (November 3, 2025) — A deadly two-vehicle collision early Saturday morning claimed the life of 25-year-old Jonathan Tran and left several others injured.

According to the Farmers Branch Police Department, the crash happened around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Marsh Lane and Wooded Creek Drive.

Reports say that a Chevrolet Tahoe heading north on Marsh Lane reportedly sped through a red light and struck a Mazda driven by Tran.

Emergency responders pronounced Tran dead at the scene. The Tahoe’s driver and passengers sustained serious injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Investigators said criminal charges are likely once the investigation concludes.
