Jonathon Forbus Dies in Horrific Crash on Interstate 10 [Hudspeth County, TX]

Hudspeth County, TX (October 13, 2025) — 19-year-old Jonathon Forbus of Livingston lost his life and an 18-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after a rollover crash late Friday night along Interstate 10 West.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, that around 11 p.m., Forbus was driving westbound about three miles west of Van Horn when his vehicle veered out of its lane. The car left the roadway, rolled several times, and came to a stop off the highway.

Both Forbus and his passenger were ejected from the vehicle since neither was wearing a seatbelt. Forbus died at the scene, while the woman was transported to a hospital in El Paso for treatment.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
